SARAH
MURPHY-DYSON has earned a reputation both as an actress and
a dancer. In 2006 she received a Gemini for her performance in The
Magic Flute
(CBC Opening Night). Her films include Dracula: Pages from a
Virgin’s Diary, Capote, and The Murder of Jessie James.
She was a
featured dancer
in Shall We Dance, and coached Jennifer Lopez for her solo
dance scene.
For many years, she was First Soloist with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
She has
received numerous awards for her dancing, as well as rave reviews
around the
world. The Victoria Times Colonist called
her performance in The Magic Flute
“earthy and erotic”. |

DARREN FELBEL has appeared in eleven short films and seven features. His work for television and film includes Elijah and Among Thieves, which will both be released in the fall of 2007, and Frontrunner,
which APTN and CBC will air in the fall of 2007. He has also appeared
in several plays, including productions for the 2005 Winnipeg Fringe
Festival and the Manitoba Theatre Centre’s 2006 Master Playwright
Festival. For the past three years, he has been training in film acting at Onalee
Ames’ Acting Studio, and is a member of the Winnipeg Film Group. |

NEIL McARTHUR is currently a professor at the University of Manitoba. A native of Regina, he holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. He spent several years in Ottawa, where he worked as a policy advisor for the federal government and trained in video production through SAW Video. In 2002, Neil was awarded the W.O. Mitchell Award by the Canadian Women’s Press Club, for his unpublished novel manuscript. In September 2006, his first film Out of the Way had its world premiere at the Calgary International Film Festival. His book David Hume’s Political Theory is published by the University of Toronto Press. |
